The colour font has meaning to it as well. The colour red on the font brings out a bold notice to people. Red is a very strong colour to put out as the colour of the font. The red is an eye catching and for the readers, the font that has the colour red will be the first to be read. The typography of Q magazine is very easy to read. The names of the bands are in bold. The bold font is a very common font in the modern era.
The layout of the magazines shows you where everything is placed. In this magazine the layout of the bands are on the right hand side so that can audience can see who is on the magazine.
The layout of the logo is normally at the top left hand corner. The logo is always there because your audience is trying to find your magazine and the logo makes the reader find it. Without the logo you wouldn’t know what magazine to buy. But Q is a very common magazine and the overlapping of pictures on the logo shows confidence because they know their audience are able to know what magazines are Q magazines.
The colours on the front cover of the magazine are very original. The white, red and black represent the colours of Q. The red is the main colour here because its shows excitement and stands out a lot by the bright colour. The white, is the background colour. The white makes everything stand out for the people to see it clearer.
The layout of the title is very creative. You can see it runs down from the bands/artists and the “the” under the other bands and is still attach to the interviews and that shows that the Prodigy is main article with in this magazine this month.
